Suzuki Motor Corporation Officially Adopts AI Work Analysis Software "Ollo Factory"
— Streamlining Work Analysis with AI and Detecting Operational Errors in Real-Time —
AI startup Ollo Inc. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Kento Kawai; hereinafter "Ollo") announces that its work analysis AI software, "Ollo Factory," has been officially adopted for use in the domestic factories of Suzuki Motor Corporation (hereinafter "Suzuki"). Through "Ollo Factory," Ollo will support Suzuki in further improving productivity and preventing the outflow of defective products.

Key Points of "Ollo Factory" Adoption
1. Contribution to Suzuki’s "Business Utilization of AI" and "Evolution of Mother Production Plants"
Contribution to "Business Utilization of AI": "Ollo Factory" is video analysis AI that can be easily used via smartphones or tablets. Similar to the general-purpose ChatGPT tools already widely used within Suzuki, the aim is to establish it as an AI that directly contributes to the manufacturing floor.
Supporting the "Evolution of Mother Production Plants": In its mid-term management plan, Suzuki positions its domestic factories as "Group Mother Production Plants" within its global automobile supply network—serving as role models for technology and know-how. "Ollo Factory" supports the succession of production technology and accuracy improvement by visualizing human and site-specific variations using AI.
2. High-Precision Work Analysis Using Wearable Cameras
"Ollo Factory" is compatible with footage from wearable cameras (patent pending), enabling high-precision analysis even in automobile assembly processes where fixed cameras often have blind spots. This allows for detailed analysis of differences in movement between new and skilled workers, as well as stumbling points during operations, realizing efficiency in education and improvement activities.
3. Real-Time Anomaly Detection
In domestic factories, Suzuki will begin using "Ollo Factory" for real-time anomaly detection in addition to work analysis. The AI detects omitted steps or operational errors—such as forgotten screw tightening—on the spot. This initiative aims to contribute to the "automation of defect detection," "prevention of defect outflow," and "global standardization of quality".
Future Outlook
As a manufacturing-specific video analysis AI, Ollo will continue to contribute to Suzuki's further productivity and quality improvements, as well as the strengthening of the competitiveness of the entire Japanese manufacturing industry.
Message from Mr. Kazuo Ichino, Senior Managing Officer, Suzuki Motor Corporation
"I recall that our collaboration with Ollo Inc. began about a year ago.
At that time, I proposed, 'Instead of exhaustively analyzing all tasks of line workers, is it possible to detect only particularly critical operation points within the takt time in real-time?'. I believed that if this could be realized, it could become a fundamental solution for chronic defects that occur once a month or once per vehicle.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Ollo Inc. for their dedication to developing a solution for this challenge and for successfully realizing it. I sincerely look forward to continuing our work together toward solving even more advanced challenges."

Message from Kento Kawai, Representative Director and CEO, Ollo Inc.
"We are greatly honored that Suzuki Motor Corporation, a leading Japanese manufacturer, has officially decided to adopt our work analysis AI, 'Ollo Factory'.
Ollo Factory has grown alongside various companies, supporting digital transformation (DX) at manufacturing sites. I am truly delighted that the technology and know-how cultivated through that experience can be of service at Suzuki’s production sites.
I have long held respect for Suzuki as a progressive company that actively engages in AI utilization. I am convinced that 'Ollo Factory's' strengths—such as automated manual creation, identification of waste, efficient training for newcomers, and real-time anomaly detection of operations—are an excellent match for Suzuki's manufacturing sites.
There is nothing that would make me happier than to work together to energize the Japanese manufacturing industry with Suzuki, as they aim to accelerate AI adoption at production bases both domestically and abroad to further strengthen their competitiveness. Starting with the operation of 'Ollo Factory' at domestic plants, we will provide our utmost support to contribute to Suzuki’s development on a global scale. We will contribute to the expansion to other factories and the improvement of the competitiveness of the entire Japanese manufacturing industry."
About "Ollo Factory"
"Ollo Factory" is a manufacturing-specific work analysis AI developed by Ollo, an AI startup originating from the University of Tokyo's Matsuo Laboratory. By simply uploading work videos filmed with wearable cameras or smartphones, the AI automatically divides and analyzes the work into elements. It supports improvements in productivity and quality through the comparison of movements between skilled workers and newcomers, as well as the analysis of work variations.
Tools: Analysis functions that support automated manual creation, identification of waste, and optimization of personnel allocation.
Training: Efficient human resource development and improved learning speed through movement comparison between veterans and new workers.
Alert: Real-time detection of operational errors and abnormalities to prevent the outflow of defective products.
